Ryan Reynolds introduced us all to a little football fan named Leland. He is 6 years old and a fan of the Blyth Spartans football team. He also has pre-leukemia, and Reynolds and his wife, Blake Lively, are helping to support him by raising awareness of his condition and providing links on how people can help.
Blyth Spartans midfielder JJ O'Donnell tweeted the Deadpool actor's message to Leland, along with the kid's adorable response. An important note, Blyth Spartans played Wrexham, a team owned by Reynolds and Rob McElhenney. Although Cast and Leland support opposing teams, they all agree that people should support the fight against childhood cancer.
