(Reuters) - Striker Dejan Kulusevski may not feature for Tottenham Hotspur until the end of the World Cup, manager Antonio Conte said on Friday, as the Sweden international suffered a setback in his recovery from a horn injury.
Kulusevski, 22, has been a key player for Spurs since joining from Juventus in January. He missed their last six matches due to injury on international duty.
Conte said on Monday that Kulusevski is almost back to full fitness, but now fears he won't be back until 1
.11-12.12. 25mm break.
"His recovery was going well and then one day it got worse. When something like that happens, you have to start again," Conte told reporters ahead of Tottenham's visit to Newcastle United on Sunday.
"I think we'll have to wait a while to see him with us again."
